MAIA.tools is now a technical partner of the Health Outcomes Observatory (H2O) in Austria. H2O represents a strategic cross-country partnership that connects the private and public sectors to establish a robust model for gathering and processing data related to electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePROs). On a large scale, patients‘ conditions are measured to later be incorporated into medical decision-making, both on an individual and public level. For further information see below:
Additional Value of ePROs
In collaboration with several partners, particularly the Medical University of Vienna, patient-reported outcomes (PROs) are collected using the MAIA.tools platform.
Special emphasis is placed on gathering self-reported health data from patients, making this information accessible and comprehensible in a structured format. This empowers patients to track their overall well-being or symptoms—such as fatigue, nausea, or pain—and observe their progression over time. Additionally, MAIA.tools provides clinicians and researchers with tools to gain insights into self-reported data. With H2O, this information will be processed and made accessible to patients themselves, reinforcing a patient-centered approach. Individual health outcomes and trends will be contextualized through descriptive and low-threshold modules.
