MAIA.tools provides software for the documented exchange of information between doctors and patients. MAIA specializes in patient education before operations and examinations as well as in aftercare and patient surveys such as PROM, where MAIA can take over all processes digitally. The software is also suitable for including patients in medical studies.

The MAIA platform optimizes the information process in medical facilities such as hospitals, special outpatient clinics and medical practices and perfects patient education through high-quality digital content, multilingualism and excellent accessibility. The digital content is also available to patients outside the clinic at any time online and independent of their device (BYOD: Bring Your O wn Device). Bring Your Own Device).

A paperless workflow

With MAIA, you can handle patient education and documentation completely paperless. For this we have developed a special procedure that provides doctors with precise reports for the personal information session. Above all the entire documentation can be signed and stored electronically.

Interfaces & integration

Communication between the HIS/PPS and MAIA takes place via standardized interfaces, e.g. HL7 or GDT. MAIA can be configured for each HIS/PPS or institution so that all data prepared and returned by MAIA can subsequently be supplemented by doctors and processed by the HIS/PPS or stored long-term.

Data security and legal certainty

Data security is a sensitive issue. All patient data is encrypted in accordance with the highest security standards. In addition, MAIA is fully integrated into the IT infrastructure of your healthcare facility (clinic, hospital, surgery) so that no sensitive data is leaked.

Paperless documentation and patient information is not only just as secure as paper information forms, but is also even more secure thanks to modern forensic data such as electronic time stamps and electronic signatures. We offer different levels of security in order to always strike the right balance between user-friendliness and legal security.
